Positioning Cuba as a quality destination for gastronomic services is the main objective of the 10th International Varadero Gourmet Festival, scheduled to take place in this resort from June 26 to 29.
Master conferences, product presentations, exhibitions and contests are part of the extensive agenda of the event, which is held at the Plaza America Convention Center of this tourist center, 140 kilometers east of Havana. The dissertations include suggestive titles such as: Emblematic elaborations of traditional Cuban cuisine and its heritage value, Eco-gastronomic vision for Cuban projects, and Universality and Cuban cuisine in gastronomic services. Other themes include from cocoa to chocolate, Cigar and its perfect trilogy, and Gin in Cuban gastronomy.
In accordance with the published agenda, a presentation of whole wheat flour and wheat bran products is planned, as well as contests on blind tasting of Cuban rums, traditional cold starters, stylized Cuban desserts, fantasy cocktails as also hot appetizers.
The invitation to this tenth edition is addressed to entrepreneurs and specialists from the state and private sectors involved in the management, training and marketing of beverages and food, both national and international.
